PADI ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER
Why take this course?
Having completed five diving sessions (deep diving below twenty metres, navigational diving and three chosen kinds of specialised diving) you will become more familiar with underwater environment and learn about different possibilities of diving, maybe to find one to devote your entire diving experience to.
What do you need to try?
Age requirements: Fifteen, (twelve-year olds can obtain a PADI Junior ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER certificate),
OPEN WATER DIVER Certificate or any license to dive without an instructor.
What will you do?
The Advanced Open Water Diver program consists of five diving sessions: navigational diving, deep diving and three other kinds of diving chosen out of the following:
- Altitude Diver (three hundred meters above sea level)
- Boat Diver
- Drift Diver
- Dry Suit Driver
- Multilevel Diver
- Night Diver
- Peak Performance Buoyancy
- Search and Recovery Diver
- Underwater Naturalist (underwater environment knowledge)
- Underwater Videographer
- Underwater Photographer
- Wreck Diver
What is the duration of the course?
Recommended number of diving hours: Fifteen, at least two days.
What should you have?
A need for underwater adventure,
Theoretical resources - provided by the Diving Centre,
A diving logbook,
What do you get?
If you are over fifteen you can enroll to a wreck or deep diving course (forty-metre diving). Regardless of age you can enter a Rescue Diver or a Junior Rescue Diver course.
